Question about my birth control.

I'm currently taking Microgestin Fe 1.5/30, which are birth control pills that come in a square purple case. There are three weeks of green pills and one week of brown ones (Ferrous Fumarate Tablets). I just want to confirm that the last week of pills (the brown ones) do NOT act as a contraceptive
